What Students Say

---------------- During the registration I was informed that after I finished 50% of my theory lessons I could book already practical lessons. During the theory classes we had to sign a presence sheet and on it we could mark if we would like already to start doing practical lessons. So, that is what I did, marked my name on the list for poractical lessons. After finishing 100% of the theory lessons I asked again how could I schedule the practical lessons and to my surprise I was informed that I would have to wait 3 months, but my name as on the list and they would get in touch. Ok, so far not a big problem. Today after waiting more than 3 months I decided to go to the school as I had no contact from them. Before even asking my name the office manager informed me that she could book classes on January next year. I asked how could she offer me a date without lookinmg in the waiting list and to my surprise she said that there is no waiting list at all. As I complained she tried to convince me that anyway I could not do practical lessons as I have not done the theory test yet, a blatant lie, there is no such requirement. Her solution? I should book classes in other branch were they have more instructors :) For the school I advice you to inform your customers during registration that you do not have english instructors. For non german customers, my advice is look for other driving school. For the german ones, don't trust what you are said by the office manager, ask informatrion in written."

"Passed my exam on the first try and got my license today. Thanks to my instructor Serdal. He's very serious about the blind spot drills and will make sure that you've developed the right skills before you go on an exam. The fact that my first attempt was successful is the ultimate indicator of the quality of the school and competence of the instructor. Everyone at this school is very nice and supportive. It's easy to contact them on WhatsApp in English and they're always eager to help. It was easy to schedule driving lessons and get the exam date. Overall I got it all sorted in a couple of months. To anyone who's starting their journey to obtain the license, good luck!"

"Great driving school, especially for if you are new to Germany and want to learn to drive in English. Thank you so much to Serdal for being so patient and understanding throughout all of my driving lessons, and thank you so much to the office and especially Sara for being so kind. I am super happy that I signed up to this driving school!"

"I completed my license recognition at Fahrschule 2 Drive. As part of this, I needed to complete both the theoretical and practical exams. I chose the school because I wanted to try completing the lessons in German, but wanted to have the option to switch to English in case anything became unclear. Another benefit was that the driving exam takes place in Marzahn/Lichtenberg, which I think is less intimidating than having a test more inside the city. The office staff were super friendly and helped get me registered quickly. They were available via a WhatsApp contact, which made arranging things easy. I did not have to take many of the required components because I was converting my license. However, I received access to an app to study for the theoretical exam, which was super helpful and allowed me to move at my own pace. Once I passed my theoretical exam, they got me into my driving lessons as soon as possible. They have a fair lesson cancellation policy (no charge if notified more than 2 days in advance). lessons in English cost a little more per lesson, but it was modest upcharge. I also felt that I was never strung along with extra lessons just so that I had to pay more. They wanted to get me to the exam just as much as I wanted to, insofar as they felt I was ready. I took driving lessons with Yunus, who was an extremely friendly and honest instructor. He provided helpful feedback and created a relaxed environment in the car. He was realistic and prepared me for the exam while also acknowledging the realities of the real world. I wholeheartedly recommend Fahrschule 2Drive. I never would have thought I'd ever be raving about a driving school, but they're simply the best!"

"in general, very nice school; they speak also other languages like English and Russian. I had a great experience with my teacher (Beatrice), who was very friendly, positive, and easygoing; she made the driving experience way more fun than I thought. The secretary was also always very helpful. I leave four stars because it is not possible to pay with by card, which is super annoying! and also because it is very expensive!"

"Yesterday I passed my practical driving exam on the first try, and I want to express my immense gratitude to the “2Drive Ostkreuz” driving school! Snizhana (the administrator) is a person who took you under her wing from day one like a best friend. She explained the entire process, is always available, always adjusts the schedule to fit yours, and lifts your spirits. Throughout all my lessons, I had the same instructor, who was highly recommended—and for good reason. If you want to pass the exam and truly learn how to drive in Berlin, go to Serdal! He is incredibly patient, answers all your questions before and after lessons, and is very friendly and calm, which he passes on to his students. By the end of the course, you’ll know everything you need for safe driving and an easy exam. I took my lessons in English, and there were no issues at all. I enjoyed the lessons—even though I had driving experience, there are many differences in German rules, and Serdal taught me all the necessary tips. I feel confident after all! The entire driving school staff is super friendly and kind. I’m grateful that they were with me during this period!"

"I want to share my experience with Fahrschule 2Drive Perfect GmbH, an excellent driving school that helped me navigate the bureaucratic process of obtaining a German driver's license. As a U.S. citizen, I was fortunate that the German government accepted my driver's license, allowing me to skip the practical exam and only take the theory exam. Upon arriving at the school, I was greeted by Snizhana, who provided me with the necessary study materials for the theory exam through an app. Snizhana helped me register for the theory exam with DEKRA when I felt prepared for the exam. I had to pay via bank transfer, as DEKRA does not accept same-day payments or payments at the testing center. After sending the payment, I had to wait ten days for confirmation before taking the exam. I'm grateful to have passed the exam and obtained my German driver's license. This experience gave me a newfound respect for the simplicity of the U.S. system, where getting a driver's license takes about two hours, costs $20, and does not require such a lengthy process. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone, and I didn't even have to take the practical exam. It's a challenging process, so if you decide to pursue it, I strongly recommend having Snizhana by your side. She is tremendously helpful, and she speaks English. Good luck!"

"Dear Fahrschule team, I write to say a big thank you for all the support and guidance. Being an expat in Berlin, I applied to switch my licenses to obtain the German one. Serdal my instructor was very knowledgeable, helped me calm by communicating well in English but also at times encouraging that I am aware of basic German driving terminology. He taught me well but more importantly explained where mistakes were made and how so I correct them. Before and after every class he always asked if I felt comfortable, confident and whether there are any questions in my mind. Took additional effort to clear simplest of my doubts at times. I have passed my driving exam in the first attempt and credit goes to the excellent support of my instructor Serdal and to Snizhana / Jeannette for the nice hospitality. Thank you once again! A responsible driver is in me. Cheers Saurabh Mishra"

"I was converting my driving license in the 2Drive Ostkreuz driving school. If you ask me to describe the whole process in one word — amazing! Operations are handling great by Snizhana, Anna and Jeannette. Be sure that they will always find the best time slot for you! I’ve practiced with few instructors and all teach very well and have great English. I’ve passed the practical exam from the first attempt and would like to say a big thank you to the instructor Serdal! Highly recommended for all Berliners!"

"Good experience! Driving instructors Serdal and Oliver (my instructors) are highly experienced and spoke good english. There were few hiccups in appointment time so i would suggest to keep things as clear as possible on text"
